2. Scope of Services
ANROCK provides residential and light-commercial renovation services including, but not limited to:
- Full home renovation and remodelling
- Custom kitchen renovation and cabinetry
- Bathroom renovation and tiling
- Custom closet and storage solutions
- Feature walls and custom furniture
- Interior design and 3D project planning
All services are subject to a separate written project agreement signed by both parties before work commences.
3. Consultation and Booking Process
Submitting an appointment request through our website initiates a consultation inquiry only. It does not constitute a contract or a confirmed appointment. A member of the ANROCK team will contact you within 1–3 business days to confirm availability and arrange an in-person or virtual consultation. Consultation appointments are subject to availability and may be rescheduled at ANROCK’s discretion.
4. Estimates and Quotes
Any estimate or quote provided by ANROCK — whether verbal, written, or communicated via email — is a preliminary assessment only and is not a binding contract. Final project costs may vary based on actual site conditions, material availability and pricing, client-requested changes, unforeseen structural or mechanical issues discovered during work, and applicable taxes and permit fees. A binding fixed-price or cost-plus agreement will be provided in a formal written contract prior to commencement of any paid work.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms are defined in the individual project agreement. General terms unless otherwise stated:
- A deposit (typically 25–40% of the project total) is required before work begins.
- Progress payments may be scheduled at agreed project milestones.
- Final payment is due upon substantial completion of the project.
- All invoices are payable in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Overdue invoices may be subject to interest at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum).
6. Project Timeline
Project timelines are estimates based on the agreed scope of work and normal operating conditions. ANROCK is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to material supply chain disruptions, subcontractor scheduling, weather, permit processing delays, hidden site conditions, or client-directed scope changes. Any timeline adjustments will be communicated to the client promptly.
7. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work site during agreed working hours.
- Ensure the work area is reasonably cleared before the project start date.
- Make timely decisions when presented with options, selections, or approvals to avoid project delays.
- Notify ANROCK promptly of any concerns during the project.
- Ensure payment is made according to the agreed schedule.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ANROCK’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. ANROCK is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of revenue, or loss of profits. This limitation does not exclude liability for personal injury caused by ANROCK’s negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded under Ontario law.
9. Cancellation Policy
Consultation appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid for that consultation. Cancellation of a confirmed project after work has commenced will be governed by the terms of the signed project agreement, and may result in charges for work completed, materials ordered or delivered, and reasonable overhead costs.
10. Warranty
ANROCK warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Warranty terms, including duration and coverage, are specified in the individual project agreement. Warranty does not cover damage resulting from client misuse, normal wear and tear, acts of nature, or modifications made by third parties after project completion.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful, disputes will be submitted to mediation before proceeding to litigation. These Terms & Conditions and any project agreement are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
12. Changes to These Terms
ANROCK reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
